Beauty Products to Gift Yourself This Season
It’s the best time of year again: the Holiday Season… I mean Holiday SALE Season.
While it’s heartbreaking not being able to celebrate the holiday season like normal, an unfortunate positive of all of this is that holiday sales are extended. The beauty sales are out of this world – Sephora sales, Ulta sales, even Credo beauty sales! Aside from the sales, I have hand-picked some of my favorite items that I think you deserve to get yourself this holiday season. After all, it has been a VERY long year so far, and you deserve the treat!
My FAVORITE moisturizer to date is the SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore. Here is the link to this product on their website. This moisturizer intensely repairs and hydrates your skin, leaving it feeling deeply replenished and dewy. It refills the lipids in your skin, and softly treats dry skin. While it’s on the more expensive side, you don’t need to use a lot of this product for your face. I usually can get away with using a penny sized amount to moisturize my whole face. I give this product a 10/10 and truly know you wouldn’t regret investing in it.
Next is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Kit. The set is on sale now, so hurry to it while you can! In the kit is a lip liner, a lipstick and a lip gloss! Pairing these three will leave your lips with a silky shade of pink, and a puffy/pouty look. While I personally don’t own this product, I have borrowed my mom’s and I now want one for myself. Getting yourself this lip set would be the perfect gift for yourself, especially if you’re a lip fanatic.
If you want to up your eye makeup game, there are two picks I would undoubtedly recommend. First up is the IT Cosmetics 4-in-1 Superhero Brush. This Brush gives you the flexibility to use it for an all-over shadow look, a crease brush, a smudge brush, and a liner brush! This brush is a total game changer for me. I am not an eye makeup aficionado, so it was easy for me to rely on this brush for each stage in my eye makeup process.
I use this brush with Urban Decay’s Naked Honey Eyeshadow Palette. This palette has a wide variety of warm shades (my favorite)! This palette is on sale right now – so no reason not to treat yourself to it if you like it! Each shade looks gorgeous on every skin tone.
Next, if you want to give yourself a killer salon blowout, I would buy this Revlon One Step Blowdry Brush. Again, I personally don’t own this product – but I borrow my roommate’s constantly. It works WONDERS for my hair and blow-dries my hair to a perfect blowout in less than 40 minutes. I feel a little bit more put together after using it, just because I know that I don’t have to straighten my hair afterwards! I would definitely get this product for yourself, so you can always have the option to give yourself an at-home blowout for no cost at all!
If you’re someone who cares about your skin a lot, I would head to goop.com and look up the Microderm Instant Glow Exfoliator. This exfoliator deeply cleans out your face and gives you fresher looking skin almost instantly. It mimics the effects of the in-office microdermabrasion procedure. You can use this product up to 2-3 times per week, and while it is on the more expensive side, think about the money you save by not having to go in-office for a treatment. This product is a complete game changer. I have never seen my skin look so good once I used this product! You definitely need to treat yourself to this one, especially during this dry winter season we’re about to enter!
Lastly, I want to mention a simple product that I adore. Glossier's Balm Dotcom is a universal skin salve that I have relied on for years. I personally love this product on my lips, but I know others who add it to their cuticles, and on other dry places. My favorite two are the Coconut and the Birthday untinted balms. The last time I purchased these tubes was this time last year, and they have both lasted me this long. DEFINITELY treat yourself to these- they’re only usually $12 and right now on sale for $9… so, why not try it out?
